Timberlake Readying Up For Baseball Based MovieWednesday, February 27, 2008 Justin Timberlake would be portraying a fictional Hooks player Carlton Garrett, in the Baseball movie, "The Open Road". And boy, he has been working hard! The singer was seen arranging a meeting with the Houston Astros' Team in Austin recently. He wants to learn how it should be like, to play for the Hooks. While a majority of the players are preparing for the spring training season, the team manager is still hopeful that a few players might actually teach Timberlake. "The Open Road" is about a young man, who is trying to come to terms with his father, a legendary athlete played by Jeff Bridges and who is desperately trying to reach his dying mother, Mary Steenburgen and Kate Mara also comprise of the casting. The Director, Michael Meredith, has tried to make a flick which is based on Baseball, and he has Baseball in his genes from his father, Don Meredith, quarterback player for Dallas. The shooting of the movie has already begun in Hammond, and Justin is seen making supreme efforts to gel into the character. Good workout for the singer, I must say. Powered by dBLOGGER |
