Michael Jackson pays tribute to troops in TokyoSunday, March 11, 2007 On Saturday Michael Jackson took time out to visit a U.S. Army base in Japan to greet and also thank over 3,000 troops for their services. Some of the troops also had family members present who were able to enjoy meeting the popular musician and superstar.
Michael Jackson was also in Japan last Sunday but for different reasons. His previous trip included attending parties and also a gala which was held in Tokyo. Over 1,000 people also had the opportunity to meet Jackson at a popular night club last Friday. The pop icon had the following to say to the troops on Saturday Those of you in here today are some of the most special people in the world. It is because of you in here today, and others who so valiantly have given their lives to protect us, that we enjoy our freedom.Michael was also a guest of honor recently at an exuberant party.
