Jon Bon Jovi First to Perform at New Arena

Famous rock band Jon Bon Jovi will be the first music artists to perform at New Jersey's newest arena "The Rock" which is currently being built in downtown Newark.

Prudential Financial Inc., an insurance giant in Newark, has a Rock of Gibraltar symbol in it's logo and that is how the new arena acquired it's name.

It is estimated that the new arena will cost a total of $365,000,000 to build and it has enough space to seat 19,500 for concerts.

Jon Bon Jovi has released many great hits over the years including "Wanted Dead Or Alive", "It's My Life" and "Bed Of Roses" just to name a few.

The concert will be held on October 26, 2007 and fans can expect tickets to go on sale some time during the middle of June.
