Brandy Sued For Freeway CrashFriday, May 04, 2007 Popular singer and actress, Brandy Norwood, has been sued by Marouane Hdidou for the death of his wife, 38-year-old Awatef Aboudihaj. Marouane lost his wife in a car crash on the San Diego Freeway last Dec 30 which involved the 28-year-old music artist.
A Highway Patrol report states that Brandy, who was driving a Land Rover, struck Aboudihaj from behind at 65 mph. It is claimed that the impact caused the vehicle to slide out of control. During the incident Aboudihaj's Honda struck the center divider and was later hit by Mallory Ham, a 50-year-old from Simi Valley, which ultimately resulted in death. One of Brandy's representatives failed to immediately return a call on Friday. There has been no final decision yet in charging Brandy with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter, but if she is convicted she could face a $1,000 fine and up to a year in prison. Powered by dBLOGGER |
