Britney Spears and Kevin Federline Still BattlingFriday, August 31, 2007 Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin Federline's lawyer, claims that Britney Spears should be responsible for some of her ex-husband's legal costs for their divorce case.
Kevin's attorney is asking pop star Britney Spears to pay $50,000 towards some of the expenses for the divorce. A court date has been scheduled for September 17 but Britney's attorney is aiming to have the date bumped up to some time in November. Earlier this week Kevin's attorney mentioned that Britney rakes in more than $700,000 on average each month. Federline currently has no net income and has been ordered to pay $20,000 each month for spousal support which will no longer be the case after November. Britney initially filed for divorce with Kevin Federline on November 7, 2006 and on July 30, 2007 the divorce became official. The couple currently share custody of their two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Powered by dBLOGGER |
