Michael Jackson Facing More Legal Battles

Monday, May 11, 2009

Michael Jackson 02 Arena Press ConverenceAccording to AllGood Entertainment Inc, a company based in New Jersey, Michael Jackson and his manager Frank DiLeo signed an agreement last November which prevents the king of pop from performing a live concert until July 3, 2010. This is when Michael Jackson, along with sister Janet Jackson and his brothers from the Jackson Five are scheduled to perform a live reunion show.

Michael Jackson has signed a deal with concert promoter AEG Live to perform around 50 shows beginning in July at the 02 Arena in London. Patrick Allocco, a managing partner at AllGood Entertainment, said earlier today that a cease and desist letter has been sent to both AEG Live and DiLeo. The letter states that Michael Jackson cannot perform for AEG Live in the London shows without going against his contract agreement with AllGood Entertainment and they plan to prevent this by suing if necessary.

According to AEG Live, rehearsals will continue in Los Angeles for the upcomming shows this July and a AEG Live source also claims that these accusations by AllGood Entertainment Inc are in fact false.

AllGood also mentioned that Michael Jackson could earn around $30 million for a one-time Jackson Five reunion show which will also be available via pay-per-view over the Internet. If this is true, it could quite possibly be one of the largest audiences for one performance of all time.
