Susan Boyle Advances To Next RoundSaturday, May 23, 2009 Susan Boyle, a talented 47 year old singer from Scotland has been voted to the next round of the popular Britain's Got Talent TV show. She will perform again during a live show on Sunday.
She took the world by storm and practically became famous overnight when she sang "I Dreamed A Dream" which is a song from the "Les Miserables" musical. She made fans worldwide including such celebrities as Oprah Winfrey with her angelic voice. Boyle grew up in a small town in Scotland called Blackburn which is filled with crime and poverty. She is the youngest out of nine children and understands better than anyone what it's like to deal with struggles and living in an area swamped with unemployment. Sadly her mother recently passed away which is partly what inspired her to enter the TV talent show. It has not been announced yet to the public which song Boyle will sing on Sunday but her last performance has been viewed over 60 million times on YouTube and you can bet that people worldwide can't wait to see her perform again.
