Adam Lambert To Release Album With His Old Tracks

Adam Lambert is currently working with Wilshire Records and Hi Fi Recordings on an album due to be released sometime during the summer. The album is titled "On with the Show" and will consist of a collection of songs which were recorded by Adam Lambert before his rise to fame on the highly popular Fox singing competition show "American Idol".

Hi Fi Recordings CEO John Hecker mentioned that the tracks that will be on the album were recored in 2007 and 2008. He also stated that many of the songs were co-written by Lambert and said they deserve to be heard.

The 27 year old rocker also signed a record deal with RCA Recordings and 19 Entertainment earlier in June. He'll be working on the new album during the "Idol Live Tour" this summer. This album is currently untitled and is planned to be released sometime in the fall.
